I covered a Bar Mitzvah here in Needham, Massachusetts. I believe Bar Mitzvah is the welcoming a young jewish child into manhood. Usually, the photographer like me is not allowed to take pictures in the ceremony. But this Bar Mitzvah was an exception. I noticed the jewish songs were nice and more contemporary than I thought; Judaism being an old religion. The songs were like that of the 1970's time, I think. That is why the young girls are raising and waving their hands. It was a Great time.
